I have a question. Are there existing extensions or implimentations of XMPP for operating a _live call-in show_ with the ability to cue members or put them on hold?

It's something I've been very curious about. I was watching a livestream last week and the host was using Twitter/X spaces for his "switchboard" and I thought it would be great if XMPP, or a similar decentralized protocol, could be used for for something like this.
