Windows clients are a bit of an issue right now. Gajim is currently not being updated for windows due to some GTK issue, and Dino windows builds are unofficial and hard to find.

you could try movim, though fair warning it connects server side, so its best to get your server provider to host it

I am aware of course, but sending people to some obscure automated CI builds isn't exactly userfriendly or secure.

Kris
I really wish the Dino devs reconsider and make Windows builds official.

Apparently they work reasonably well, so it is really just a question of the additional support burden.

-
Kris
Not sure. Given the existance of several forks that tried to make windows builds there seem to have been multiple people offering.

from https://codeberg.org/Taba/dino-plus-plus > It was created due to upstream project's maintainers being seemingly unwilling to accept PRs from the community. As of March 2024, there are over 50 PRs pending, most of which are silently ignored.
