    > The invite page will guide them to install one of the clients available for their OS (you can configure which clients are recommended) Is it possible to onboard from a non-recommended client?

  2. alexkurisu

Invite page must not force it's client of choice upon a user

  4. Kris

Of course, it is only a recommendation.

  5. lissine

alexkurisu, the invite page offers a registration form

btw, are there already ways of enabling users to edit mesages that are not their latest in a given chat?

  8. erebion

Mainly asking because I'm getting very annoyed by my typos if I can't fix them. xD

  9. lissine

It depends on your client. Some clients allow you to edit any message.

  10. lissine

The reason it was intially defined as "Last message correction" was for backwards compatibility with non-supporting clients.

  11. erebion

Interesting. So far none of the few clients I've tried allowed it

  12. erebion

Could you name one that allows that?

  13. lissine

    Monal

  14. lissine

(at least in alpha, not sure about stable)

  15. erebion

Oh yes, I just got an iOS device from the drawer and tried that, works

  16. Kris

Cheogram too, but on some clients edits are repeated messages so it gets quite annoying if you edit old messages.
