there are also a lot of security discussions around xmpp here -> xmpp:future@joinjabber.org?join (i tend to be more critical about xmpp than most so be prepared :P)

maybe the xsf room could be used for that too. i didnt have such a good experience with it, but there are people interested in xmpp security in there
