    arcanicanis, I’m just testing your barebone client, and Firefox says “Connection Closed: 1003 Only text frames are supported, RFC 7395 3.2” on my server (jabber.fr), you might need to do something special perhaps?

    I know it works with Converse.

    You can debug by testing anything@jabber.fr with any password you want, it fails after the first <open/>.
