the problem is not verification. I think Long ass OMEMO key is fine enven to verify. Coz they verify via other things (if they ever freakin do) like face to face or a phone call or a post on social media or…. They hardly check the key itself but the timing of changing|adding|removing a key.✎ -

the thing I'm pointing at is labeling the key locally. It's nice for user to open the OMEMO section and quickly dis|enable a certain OMEMO key basing on their local label without having to check the long sequence of the key itself.

also the ability to delete certain key that are no longer in use is also quite important. For instance the chat partner has lost or switch device and have announce it already so it should be deleted.

it's also more efficient I would think coz you no longer encrypting data for unused device.
