Hi is there a better room for questions like: which client, if any, does x ?

Is there any client that can import and export room list, to a new username account, as i know already conv. Can ex/import your account

Conversations actually doesn't export your account

It exports mostly local history and settings. It does not, for example, export your contacts

Given a client that has an XML console one could grab the bookmarks out of there, tho that's something of a last resort.

qwestion, if you peek into the browser developer console, and watch the network tab, you should be able to observe that it only connects to your xmpp server after you enter the password

Im on android and Conv btw...iiuc i would need an invite as https://github.com/snikket-im/xmpp-account-exporter/ Only works with snikket? So i cant export my current conv bookmks?

Snikket has its own import and export feature that is built into Snikket, but it is distinct from this earlier web based thing.

Hence pr unmerged

Some parts of the Snikket import/export feature is usable with any Prosody server, but the UI is part of the Snikket web portal so would be harder

Saw that...someone was mentioning 250k grant money from same donors in xmpp:#open-hardware-devroom#fosdem.org@aria-net.org?join , for openpower/euro cpu independance stuff...are they (nlnet ,ngipointer) refusing to fund xmpp with needed/comparable amounts, or is there grant money interested in me/other devs to take on tasks?
