Hi, i tried starting a discussion of status.im and its tech stack (mainly libp2p devp2p and waku, their mod of whisper protocol). Is it off topic here too? Where else can we discuss tech of collectin competing tools without there being a not invented here mentality? Some external tech could be decided to be integrated into xmpp if properly audited etc.✎ -

No, pretty sure the statement was that even if Briar didn't have rooms, something built on cryptocurrency wouldn't be an option 🙂
